Email Sync

SellerCockpit automatically syncs your emails with your CRM contacts, ensuring every conversation is logged and accessible from the contact or deal record.

Supported Email Providers

  • Google Gmail - Full two-way sync with OAuth authentication
  • More providers coming soon (Outlook, IMAP)

How Email Sync Works

Automatic Matching

When you connect your email account, SellerCockpit:

  1. Scans incoming and outgoing emails for known contact email addresses
  2. Automatically creates activities on matching contact records
  3. Links emails to deals when contacts are associated with open deals
  4. Handles unmatched emails in a dedicated review queue

Setting Up Email Sync

  1. Navigate to Settings > Email Accounts
  2. Click Connect Gmail
  3. Authorize SellerCockpit via Google OAuth
  4. Select which folders to sync (Inbox, Sent, etc.)

Email Templates

Create reusable email templates for common communications at Settings > Email Templates.

Available Merge Fields

  • {{contact.first_name}} - Contact’s first name
  • {{contact.last_name}} - Contact’s last name
  • {{contact.company}} - Contact’s organization
  • {{deal.name}} - Associated deal name
  • {{user.name}} - Your name
